Green Building 101 Event Wrap Up!

Well, Monday was fun!

Fred really showed the audience what it means to be truly green – reduce your load first, install energy efficiency equipment and finally, install your renewable technologies!

Fred explained very clearly that in order to go green, we need to be tightening up the building shell first using  air sealing and insulation. This is because almost 75% of the gas utility costs in an average home goes towards heating/cooling the space and supplying the domestic hot water. This means that we have to try to keep the heat from escaping, right? Of course!

Here are a few photos from the event. As for the information and power point – we would be happy to send it along to you. Please email for the file.

Thanks to everyone who came out! If you have any questions, give us a call.

Green Building Event is TODAY!

Today is the Green Building 101 event at Hallwalls (341 Delaware avenue). It starts at 7pm and is free and open to the public.

We hope you can make it! We have had a lot of good press about the event on Buffalo rising as well as the Good Neighborhood.

See you tonight!
