Mapping Our NYSERDA Multifamily Projects – August 2014

This is a cool visual – we decided to map all of our projects to date.

What you are looking at is literally 150 multifamily projects statewide! Our multifamily projects average approx. 112 units per project and they range from your average suburban complex to the market rate new construction project downtown and everything in between. We have helped building owners reduce the utility consumption by a minimum of 15% by installing insulation, air sealing, high efficiency mechanical systems and other energy saving measures.

The best part for us is that our work directly benefits the residents. Our projects have helped approximately 24,000 New Yorkers become more safe and comfortable in their homes. The residents are the ones who benefit from lower utility bills, reduced cold drafts in the winter months and upgrades to their appliances.

After Buffalo Energy’s work is done, the apartments at Jake Schneider’s Swan Street project will use 15-20% less energy than new construction projects built to NYS energy code.

Space will be limited so please RSVP to Melanie at melanie@buffalo-energy.com as soon as you are sure you can attend.
